SCF chosen to provide corporate finance services to a network of over 200 accountancy firms
A leading South Yorkshire firm of deal specialists has landed a prestigious contract to provide corporate finance expertise for a national network of more than 200 accountants throughout the UK.
Sheffield-based Strategic Corporate Finance will supply the service for AVN (Added Value Network), the UK’s largest and fastest growing group of independent accountants whose member firms have nearly 125,000 SME clients on their books.
AVN’s mission is to give its members the tools to offer outstanding business advice to client companies, helping them to achieve success.
Andrew Coates, a director of Strategic Corporate Finance, said: “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to work for AVN. Many of its member firms are not large enough to have their own corporate finance specialists but what they do have is the detailed knowledge of their clients’ businesses and, working together, we will be able to provide a high quality service.”

AVN is believed to be the first UK network to launch such a service. It was announced to members at the network’s annual conference in London.

Operating using the name AVN Corporate Finance, SCF’s work for AVN will cover all aspects of corporate finance including corporate acquisitions, mergers, management buy-outs, buy-ins and disposals.
