Strategic move for £15 billion dealmaker
Leading dealmakers Strategic Corporate Finance have appointed a successful corporate financier, John Jackson, as an Associate Director. With Strategic already getting off to a flying start in 2008 and with many more deals in progress, this appointment will further strengthen the largest team of specialist dealmakers in South Yorkshire.
John joins the company from Punch Taverns plc, the UK’s leading pub company where he was Corporate Finance Manager. Prior to joining Punch he was Corporate Finance Manager at the Spirit Group (at the time the largest independent managed pub group in the UK).
John brings with him a wealth of expertise, from corporate reorganisation and restructuring, acquisitions and disposals, to new debt and bank financing.
In his seven years in the pub industry, John completed in excess of 30 M&A and financing projects having a total value of over £15 billion.
